Village Valuables is the City's Largest Yard Sale! Residents will set-up shop on the sidewalks, in their yards and, yes, garages selling everything from house wares to antiques. Spend a fun spring day shopping at over 100 different yard sales throughout German Village. Who knows what treasure you might find! Worry not about your energy. There are loads of coffee shops, delis, restaurants, watering holes and kids selling lemonade! While in German Village, support our neighborhood businesses. They'll appreciate it. BUT.... we'd love it of you'd enjoy a cold, refreshing beverage and a brat on the German Village Meeting Haus Platz where we'll have some things for sale as well!

The German Village Haus und Garten Tour is an event filled with traditions and surprises, much like the neighborhood it showcases. German Village opens its doors and garden gates for the 48th annual Haus und Garten Tour. Visitors are cordially invited for this daylong celebration of innovative design and award-winning restorations. Guests can explore the twelve sites at their own pace, while stopping to enjoy the gardening demonstrations, shopping for unique home and garden accessories in the Marketplatz and watching members of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society paint their masterpieces for the annual watercolor competition.

Experience the charm of the holiday season in the Village. The quaint brick streets of German Village and Schiller Park will be aglow at sunset with candlelight luminaria. Be sure to call early for the full schedule of events coordinated by the Society and Business Members. No doubt, there will be sightings of Santa Claus, his reindeer, and maybe Pelsnickel.

The German Village Fun Committee cordially invites all members of the Society to this annual sing-along potluck supper. Bring your favorite dish to share and come prepared to sing.

Plus, the Society offers a selection of guided group tours focusing on historic preservation and architecture specific to the Village, the immigration process, and our sensational public and private gardens. All tours are scheduled in advance and the fees run from $4.00 (student scavenger hunt) to $12.00 (adult deluxe).
